About the speakers:
Beth Martial is a dynamic workforce strategist and Director of the PROG Foundation and Development Center, where she leads tech-forward initiatives that connect untapped talent to real career pathways. A community advocate, former tech business owner, and trusted bridge-builder across philanthropy, industry, and education, Beth has designed and delivered high-impact training for HR teams, nonprofit coalitions, and workforce boards. Her insights—grounded in lived experience and a systems-change mindset—translate vision into strategy, transforming opportunity into measurable results.
Megan Westover, MBA, is an experienced recruitment professional currently serving as the Lead Recruiter for University Recruiting at BambooHR since January 2021, following roles as Talent Acquisition Partner 1 and 2. Westover's prior experience includes an internship in Human Resources with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, supporting benefits management across multiple regions. Additionally, Westover contributed as a Graduate Assistant at the Utah Women & Leadership Project, a Human Resources Intern at WCF Insurance, and held various support roles in administrative capacities. Westover earned an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Utah Valley University and holds a certificate in Chinese Language and Literature from Bond Language School.
Dr. Jonathan H. Westover is a distinguished academic ranked #16 globally for job satisfaction research by ScholarGPS. He serves as Associate Dean and Director of HR Programs at WGU and is a doctoral faculty member at the University of Arizona Global Campus and Creighton University. Dr. Westover has published extensively in organizational behavior, human capital development, and workplace dynamics. He previously served as Chair and Professor at UVU, directing initiatives including the Center for Social Impact and Academic Service-Learning. As a Senior Fellow with Advance HE and CIPD Academic Fellow, his work bridges academic research with educational innovation and industry application.
