About the Speakers:

Melissa Ceballos

Melissa has a true passion to help people! In everything she does her focus has always been on developing strong, meaningful, and long-lasting relationships to understand needs and align resources effectively.

Melissa spent 19 years working for a Global Transportation Company in the areas of HR, Talent Acquisition and Management, and made a move to the Financial Services industry in 2016. She is currently the Director of People and Business Development for Elevated Retirement Group and Financial Wellness.

In learning about retirement planning, she quickly identified a need for greater education and resources to help employees build financial confidence. She actively collaborates with organizations throughout Utah to help develop their wellness programs by engaging workforces and focusing on education through activity and action to help employees with their financial planning and prepare for a successful retirement!

Melissa is PHR and SHRM-CP certified and has been actively involved in SHRM since 2013.  She previously served as the Salt Lake SHRM Chapter President in 2022 and currently remains on their Presidents Council.  In her spare time, she is a career coach for the University of Utah Alumni Association and SparkEffect Career Transition and Outplacement.

Grant Langston

Grant Langston is an accomplished Human Resources leader with over a decade of experience ranging from medium-sized to Fortune 500 companies. He currently serves as the Senior Human Resources Director at Webb Production, a live event production company that is 100% employee-owned. Additionally, for 16 years he has run Bella Rocca, a small contracting business staining concrete.

Grant holds a Master of Science in Human Resources from Utah State University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Utah. He is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He has been on the Board of Directors for Salt Lake SHRM since 2022.

He loves spending time in the kitchen, yard, the mountains, and especially the ocean. He collects a new hobby way too frequently but enjoys being in a state of constant learning. He and his wife Azucena have four children, two active dogs, and are a few years away from being empty nesters.

Beca Mark

Beca Mark is the CEO and Founder of Megastar HR, an HR consulting and outsourcing firm located in Sandy, UT. She has worked in the HR industry for over 20 years, prior as the Vice President of HR for Brighton Hospice, Director of HR for Dynatronics, and Asst. HR Manager for Challenger Schools. Beca received a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in HR management from Brigham Young University. She is passionate about leading teams and supporting companies changing the world for the better.
