About the speaker:
Steve Glassford has a bachelor's degree from BYU, as well as a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. After earning his JD, Steve worked with the United States Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division for 12 years (10 years as a federal investigator, and the last two years as an outreach and training specialist). Since leaving the DOL in 2022, Steve has since worked in the compliance world in the context of the tech industry and the construction industry. He now has a consulting business called The Overtime Coach where he helps attorneys and HR professionals understand how to avoid common wage and overtime pitfalls.
