It's coming! If your employees haven't asked for it yet, they will soon. There is a big push in many global markets for a reduced workweek, due to its benefits to both the employee and employer. Some countries are even looking at mandating a 4-day workweek. Although the US is lagging in its consideration of this new approach to the workweek, it won't be long before pressures on our organizations to consider the implications of this change. Rod Lacey, member of Salt Lake SHRM, is one of the very few professionals in the US who has successfully run a 4-day workweek program on a global scale. He will be sharing his insights into the 'movement' as well as the implications to organizations considering the implementation of a program of this nature. Participants will emerge with a better understanding of the global momentum behind this change, learn specific insights into what Rod's organization experienced as one of the pioneer organizations launching this program, and receive some practical insights into how to implement a program, should an organization want to give it a shot.

About the Speaker:
Rod Lacey, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has been in HR leadership roles most of his career, serving in multiple industries, primarily in growing, global organizations. Rod is currently the CEO of his own HR consulting company, Sunsone HR, but recently worked for two different organizations in the hyper-growth global Software-as-a-Service industry. Rod relocated to the Salt Lake area almost 20 years ago, dragging along his spouse and 5 children, who now consider this beautiful setting 'home.'
